Destiny calling her to Politics:

During her graduations, she actively participated in all actives of college. She is fond of helping and guiding others. She actively participated in all college activities. With the support of student she became GS in 1992. She earned this position by her hard work, dedication and presence of mind. This was a fresh start for her new role as a leader. She learnt many things during that period and made her a strong and competent contender. She never believes in dreaming, she always believes in doing as she follows “karmanye vadhikaraste ma phaleshu kadachana”. Attractive personally, sharp knowledge and effective speech impressed RJP Leaders and she joined RJP in 1996. Now she had a new role and responsibilities which had built her political position in RJP. As always favoring women and women’s problems, she took responsibility of empowering women and finally she got inspiration of her life. She now wants to divot her life for social services and women empowerment. Her approach and work for RJP lead her for post of Secretary of Mahila wing from 1997 to 1998. She never looked to any other Profession or work, she dedicatedly is serving society and nation.

Political Journey:

Till this time Rekhaben understood that her Motto of life is Social work. After her introduction to politics she came to know about many social problems and problems of common people. That time she noticed that no one directly projected common peoples requests and problems to government , so she decided to to play a role of arbitrator and fulfill that responsibility in the best possible way. She uses politics to help the people and solve their problems in that regard she decided to take part in state assembly election from Modasa assembly in 1998 as RJP Candidate. This was only her first step and way too longs she going to travel. First she became Director of GMDC in 1996 to 1998. During that period she actively took interest in projects and re-started projects which would generate employment for the local population. As her dedication towards Gujarat Congress, she became secretary of GPCC from 1999 to 2006 and General Secretary in 2009. She also achieved position of Spoke person of GPCC from 2007 to 2009. She is Delegate of GPCC and AICC since 1999.

Contribution to Society:

Since so many years Rekhaben is working for social activities and employment related work. But she is actively working for women empowerment and their life’s Upliftment. During her political and social activity she felt that women in rural area are still not aware and educated enough to raise their voice and none is supporting them to raise their voice. Rekhaben took this challenge to empower those rural women for their rights. She got opportunity to serve as a president in INTUC Mahila Gujarat Pradesh from 2007 to 2008.

Still going strong:

Rekhaben chaudhary understands her responsibly toward his Own community. She actively took part in all the activities which is organized for Anjana Chaudhary Samaj. Activ Member of Akhil Aanjara Samaj Mahasabha, Mount Abu.
